Girl Parts

Girl Parts is a collection of 8x10 direct positive photographs made on Ilford Multigrade IV Glossy Fiber Photo Paper with potassium permanganate reversal bleaching. Each photograph is a unique object that functioned as its own negative and thus exists in defiance of replication. These photographs explore the connection between how we as women are made to be insecure or uncomfortable with our bodies and act in defiance of this insecurity.
